Enrichment Camp Instructor – Decatur

Location: Glennwood Elementary School and Decatur Recreation Center

Dates: June & July (individual weekly camps)

Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday summer camp

Hourly Rate: $30/hr for Certified Instructors; $15/hr for Non-certified Instructors

Purpose of Work:

We are seeking camp instructors that are passionate about summer camp and know about the positive affect summer camp programming has on children and youth. We are looking for people that have experience running a themed summer camp session for a week at a time. The summer camp instructors will design camp curriculum, implement the curriculum in an engaging manner for campers, and ensure proper supervision and safety of children participating in the camps.

Pre-Requisites:

Experience in designing and implementing weekly summer camps, specialty camps, or teacher certification in the State of Georgia. CPR/First Aid certified on or before the 1^st day of camp session, which is offered free of charge by the City of Decatur Fire Department on weekends. Applicants must not have any violations of moral turpitude and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
